Candied Carrots

1lb Carrots, Cut into 2" Pieces
2 T Butter
1/4 C Packed Brown Sugar
1/4 t Salt
1/4 t Pepper
Simmer carrots for about 15 minutes or until they've reached desired doneness. Drain. Add butter, brown sugar, salt, and pepper to pan. Bring to a boil. Add carrots and mix to coat.
