Ramen Cabbage Salad

1 Head Cabbage, Chopped
1 C Green Onions, Chopped
1/2 C Oil
1/4 C Red Wine Vinegar
1/4 C Sugar
1 t Black Pepper
3 (3 oz) PKGs Chicken Ramen Crushed, 1 Seasoning Packet Reserved
2.5 C Sunflower Seeds

Combine cabbage and onion in a large bowl.

In another container combine oil, vinegar, sugar, black pepper, and 1 seasoning packet. Mix well and pour over cabbage. Mix well, using hands.

You can either mix the crushed ramen and sunflower seeds at this point, or simply server 2 C of cabbage on a plate with 1/2 C crushed ramen and 1/2 C sunflower seeds.

Makes 5 Servings. Each serving provides, as outlined by choosemyplate.gov:

2 Protein
2 Grains
