Penzey's Hot Chocolate for One

2 C Milk
1 1/2 T Sugar
1 1/2 T Cocoa Powder
1 pinch Cinnamon, Optional
1/4 t Vanilla Extract, Optional
Mini Marshmallows, Optional
Combine milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon in a sauce pan. Whisk until smooth and heated through. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract. Top with mini marshmallows if desired.
Pink Grapefruit Smoothie
3/4 Banana
6 oz Strawberries
1/2 Grapefruit
1/2 oz Kale
4 oz Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
4 oz Water
Chocolate Almond Milk
3 T Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/3 C Splenda
1/4 t Almond Extract OR Chocolate Extract
2 C Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
Put milk in freezer to chill. In a small saucepan combine cocoa powder, splenda, almond extract, and 1/4 C milk. Mix well until the lumps are gone. Pour in remaining milk and mix well. Chill in freezer or serve over ice.
Creamy Hot Cocoa
3 T Hot Cocoa
1/4 C Sugar + 2 T Sugar
1 Pinch Salt
3 T Boiling Water
1 3/4 C Milk
1/4 C Half And Half
1/2 t Vanilla Extract
Combine cocoa, sugar, and salt in a small sauce pan.
Add water and bring to a low boil over medium low heat. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add in milk and warm through. DO NOT BOIL. Turn off heat. Combine vanilla and half and half. Add to saucepan and mix well.
Serve in mugs with coolwhip

1-1/2 C Sugar or Splenda
8 C Water, Divided
1-1/2 C Lemon Juice
In a small sauce pan, combine sugar and 1 C water. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolve. Chill syrup mixture in fridge.
In a pitcher, combine lemon juice, syrup mixture, and 7 cups of cold water.
Mint Limeade

2 C Boiling Water
1-1/2 C Sugar
1 C Lime Juice
4 C Cool Water
Mint Sprigs, Optional as Garnish
Slices of Lime, Optional as Garnish
Bring 2 C Water to a boil. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Turn off heat. Let stand 10 minutes.
Combine sugar mixture, lime juice, and water in a pitcher. Chill. Garnish if desired.
Southern Sweet Iced Tea
This stuff reminds me of McDonald's iced tea!
2 C Boiling Water
1 t Baking Soda
1 C Sugar/Sweetener
6 C Cold Water
Bring 2 C water, baking soda, and tea bags to a boil. Turn off heat and let sit 15 minutes. Add sugar/sweetener and mix until disolved. Add to pitcher and fill up with remaining water. Chill.
Chai Tea Latte

2 C Water
2 Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice Tea Bags
1 t Ground Cinnamon
1/2 t Ground Ginger
1/4 t Ground Allspice
2 C Milk
2 T French Vanilla Coffee Creamer
1/4 C Brown Sugar
Combine water, tea, and spices. Bring to a boil. Discard tea bags. Add remaining ingredients to pan, and bring to a boil, whisking until sugar is dissolved. Serve with whipped cream and sprinkle of nutmeg.
Mexican Hot Chocolate

1/4 C Sugar
1/2 t Cinnamon
2 C Milk
1/3 C Heavy Cream
In a heavy sauce pan, combine cocoa, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until warm and fragrant. Add milk and whisk until mixture is combined and heated through. Add cream and stir until hot.
DO NOT BOIL!!!!
