Ingredients
2 T Bacon Grease
1 Small Onion, Chopped
1 Green Pepper, Chopped
½ C Brown Sugar
1 t Oregano
2 Cans (14.5 oz) Diced Tomatoes OR
1 Quart Frozen Fresh Tomatoes
1 PKG Smart Taste Whole Wheat Pasta
Prepare pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, sauté onion and pepper in bacon grease until tender. Add brown sugar, oregano, and diced tomatoes. Serve over noodles.
